We are delighted to inform you that on13-14 August 2009we hostedMHM International Open HouseDay in our headquarters inErl,Austria. The target was to efficiently respond to the persisting demand for up-to-the minute technological information on textile, graphic and rotary screen printing.
The attendance of International MHM Open House byabout 50 peoplewas a memorable success. Each information stand and each item in the showroom saw crowds of interested people, information folders and hand-outs disappeared at a breath-taking speed, and staff attending to the many questions raised by the visitors had hardly any spare moment.
Among the guests there were representatives fromSlovakia, theCzechRepublic,Russia,England,GermanyandSyria.We also welcomed the delegates from such organisations asFESPA, Slovak Screenprinting Association, Czech Screenprinting Association, Russian Screen and Digital Printing Association, TVP-Textil Magazine, Flexography and Special Printing Magazine.
MHM experts were on hand in MHMbrand new showroomthroughout the event demonstrating techniques to printers and answering their numerous questions. MHM sales and technical personnel presented on diverse topics covering graphic and textile carousel and rotary screenprinting, UV, IR and hot air cure drying, flocking. The visitors had been offered a concise presentation and had been treated to a rare behind-the-scenes look at MHM Company before they were invited to the showroom to see the machines at work. After all the machinery had been introduced, our operators encouraged the printers to try out MHM’s screenprinting machinery for themselves. The initiative was undertaken with great enthusiasm. On the second day of the Open House MHM management (H. Mayrhofer, K. Wechselberger) spoke about the current projects as well as future of MHM. As was expected, an animated discussion followed.
Both in figures and public interest, the day turned out to be one of the best-attended open house events in a few years. This success would not have been possible without the support received from our partners(Maag-Flock, Tesoma GmbH, Adelco, Calmat)working closely with MHM marketing, sales, export and service departments on the planning of the activities and sometimes under time pressure to assist in the preparation and conduct of the event. A special tribute has to be paid to MHM management for its guidance and support in the fund-raising to finance a two-day programme, including a unique MHM party at Hotel “Feuriger Tatzlwurm” featuring the country’s cuisine, traditional music and entertainment.
We take pride in having received mighty positive feedback from our guests immediately after the event.International MHM Open House 2009 was a tremendous successfor which we would like to thank all the participants and also say that the dates of MHM next Open House Event will be announced soon.
Besides regular MHM Open House Days when adults are welcomed to MHM Factory to see professional world of Screenprinting and experience MHM kernel of new technologies at work, the Austrian Manufacturer of Screenprinting Machines with the production located in Erl has recently organized a Special Event for Kids. It turned out to be a great success!
Revealing behind-the-scenes view of printed everyday-consumer products such as kids T-shirts with bright and colourful Disney characters or funny and cool billboards in cinemas and amusement parks, we tried to teach kids about the number of people and efforts involved in bringing to live all of those fancy images which kids so much enjoy.
The kids were showed through MHM manufacturing floors where they learned that carousels can be used not only for a happy ride but also for bringing true and finest colours to the world. During the tour we also explained to them that our production takes particular care of the environment aimed at protecting the nature and preserving it in its primeval beauty.
MHM takes special pride in its capability of both showing perfect production combined with brilliant technology and at the same time offering a solid example to kids, teenagers and grown-ups of the many different forms which concern for the community can take.
Following our great success in India we are pleased to inform you that in cooperation with our Indian partner “M-Tex Group” we established MHM India Pvt. Ltd. branch office in Mumbai.
MHM Opening Ceremony took place in Mumbai on the 30th of May, 2009 in the presence of representatives from the Austrian Chamber of Commerce in New Delhi , MHM customers, specialists in the printing industry and guests invited on the occasion. The authorities were formally delegated to the management of MHM India branch office in a grand manner in full compliance with Indian traditions and customs.
Austrian-Indian collaboration concept points consist in the following:
- Consolidation and further development of MHM current business success in India
- Strong increase of efficiency and service quality via well-trained Indian salesmen and technicians
- Provision of spare parts on short notice
- Encouragement of the Indian printing market
All main decisions also connected with strategy are to be unconditionally taken in MHM headquarters ( Erl , Austria ). Meanwhile direct marketing activities will be exercised on the spot by highly skilled Indian specialists knowing all the particulars about the printing market in India . Our main effort is focused on ensuring that the best service is provided for our customers in the target market. Technical development and manufacture of the machines invariably remains the prerogative of MHM Austria and, as well as before, will be carried out in MHM production facilities in Erl , Austria .
MHM has made a decision to enter into cooperation with Fimat and Technijet companies on the basis of MHM India in order to place at the disposal of our customers the unbeatable advantage of complex solutions in printing.
The MHM rotary screen printing line (FP2S) realized a breakthrough in the Indian and Bangladesh market.
Besides of Bombay Rayon Fashions Limited (BRFL) a famous printer in India who placed an order for 6 rotary screen printing lines and a complete sampling department, also Mandhana in India recently finalized a contract about 2 complete rotary screen printing lines, 2 rotary sampling units and 2 carousel screen printing machines.
Moreover DB-Tex based in Bangladesh has decided to go with MHM and did order 1 complete rotary screen printing product line, 1 rotary sampling unit and 2 carousel screen printing machines.
These orders prove that also the Indian and Bangladesh textile printing industry is ready to use the state of the art MHM technology and values the huge advantages this technology offers in comparison with existing suppliers of rotary screen printing and carousel machines.
During the last ITMA textile machinery exhibition in Munich, MHM introduced the latest technology in rotary screen printing, the patented FP2S system. Since approx 8 months now the first system, with totally 20 printing positions, is in full operation at Standfast-Barracks in the UK. This company is one of the leading printers in home furnishings. Just recently MHM realized a breakthrough in the Indian market.
Bombay Rayon Fashions Limited (BRFL), a well known printer in India, finalized a contract with MHM for the supply of 4 rotary screen printing production lines, complete sampling department consisting of 6 machines and an upgrade with the MHM-FP2S printing positions on the Stork Pegasus machine. Just recently Bombay Rayon Fashions Limited also finalized with MHM a contract for the supply of 5 carousel screen printing machines, of which 2 are already in full operation in the Bombay Rayon plant in Bangalore.
This order proves that also the Indian textile printing industry is ready to use the state of the art MHM technology and values the huge advantages this technology offers in comparison with existing suppliers, European and Indian, of rotary screen printing and carousel machines.
The latest rotary screen printing technology, FP2S and a carousel machine have been shown at the recently organized ITME textile Machinery Exhibition in Bangalore. The market response regarding technical features and output quality was overwhelming!
